I'm celebrating "Good Wednesday", no it's not a religious holiday but a celebration of 90 degree weather!!!!! Finally after two months of excessive heat and humidity here in
Southern California the weather has finally broken and fall is in the air!!! It's even going to be cooler in mid 80's tomorrow.
I cannot tell you how wonderful this is. I have been so sick of this extended heat and jealous
of all my blogging friends who have been posting about the cooler weather!!
Cassie celebrating by chilling out, taking a long cool nap on her favorite spot.
We have moved recently after 24 years at this home. I will miss my
front yard very much. I brought this tree house with me. It's now
in my back yard.
My beautiful summer lilies right out the front door. They only last
for a short while.
Every year like clock work the Agapanthias bloom in June and
stay all summer attracting the butterflies and humming birds.
The heat just burned these summer beauties right up.
I'm so grateful I took these pictures early this summer when the weather was mild. I now have the pictures to remember them like this, not the horrible brittle stalks they became after the August heat burned them up.
They will come back next year for the new owners.
My favorite sweet beauty. The white Agapanthia. I will miss her.
